Hi everyone. Just checking in. The wildflowers are in full bloom down here and when I ride by them on the new Harley I can smell them. Having a great time and getting ready for this show.

Ok, this is too much fun. I love reading about what everyone's up to. Becky, Bliss, Richard, Lisa, Katie, Tawnya... sounds like everyone's doing great. I'm about to finish my first year of Grad school in the University of Utah's modern dance department. It's been heaven and hell all wrapped up into one. I miss the theatre. The good thing is, I'm free to focus in whatever direction I choose. So, at this very moment, I am designing a movement for actors course which I hope to teach at Westminster next year.

I miss you all so much. This year especially (being back in school) I catch myself constantly reminiscing about the '94-'96 years. I've realized who my mentors are and how their inspiration has shaped my life.

Waiting for you to blog again, Billy. And where is "Nate the Great" Woods? Anyone got his e-mail?

Oh, and what are the dates for Desert Dance Theatre? Lisa? Maybe I can come up. Trish & Rik, you wanna go?

Hope the trip went well for you Billy. Hello Katie, Tony, Bliss and all the rest of you that finally made it here! It's good to hear what you're up to. Thought I'd check in with an update on what I'm doing. I'll finally have my BA next month and I've got an incredible case of senioritis. For spring break, I went to visit a friend out in Wisconsin and we went down to Chicago for a few days. While I was there, I called up Kelsey and hung out in her new town for while. She got us into the Art institute for free. That was cool. I also went over to their apartment. I'm glad to report Kelsey lives in a nice little place. She really knows how to get around town and she is definitely thriving there. She's really looking forward to the summer in Texas with her sisters and everyone.

I spoke to Jeff Glenn yesterday night and he asked me to pass this on to all of you that may care. He is getting married. That's right, next month, May 21 he will be leaving the single life. You may wonder why he's not writing this himself; let's just say that a certain someone has him rather preoccupied. Anyone that is interested in talking to him or if you want an announcement mailed to you, give him a call and let him know your address. His number is (208)-241-3800.
This summer he and his fiancé will be moving to either South Dakota or Montana. Each of them has a job opportunity there and they just have to decide which way to go.

I applied to law schools to maybe try my hand at that. I only applied at 5 schools, and they were all out of my league. I got rejected at four of them and put on the wait list for the fifth. The fifth is actually the one I most wanted to go to, so keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm also exploring other career options out there in the big wide world.

Lisa, the weekend of May 8- I looked on the website and it says you guys are performing in TX. Will you be back to NYC that weekend? I'm going to be in Manhattan that weekend for the Survivor all-stars finale and would love to see you if you're around.

Hope all of you are doing well and looking forward to seeing some of you this summer!

Hi Bliss, Glad to see you on the blog. At this moment I am sitting at my computer with 20 minutes left at WWCC.
I have turned in my keys, there is a party tonight at Mike Hensley's and then Sat. morning it is off to Texas.
It is a really strange feeling. I came here at age 25 and stayed for 23 years. Now I am off to blaze new trails and try to create some more competent theatre students. I may not have access for a while, so you folks keep the blog going. I am still waiting for Rik Wade to blog in again. Goodbye until I can get another computer set up with access. Billy

Hello all,
This blog thing is pretty high tech! I tried once before and failed (similar to a problem I once had in English class). Hope all is well. I am currently living in Laramie/Centennial in SW Wyoming. I just started auditions for a production of "Fools" here in the mountains. Billy, didn't you say you wanted to write a musical version of that show? Sorry I couldn't come to Texas and do sound, but my new theatre group is budding (Nip it! Nip it in the bud!), and my band is headed for the recording studio. Hopefully I can come see the show. Billy and Colleen, please remember how easy it is to keep touch in this high tech world, you changed our lives and sometimes we still need you. Let me know how to get a hold of y'all in Texas. Joe Baker and I are going into business together, starting our own theatre and production company. Yep, Joe and I...look out world. Hopefully by the fall we'll be up and running. Back to the basics and no cash for us, eh, Billy? Stephen Spielberg said you do your best work when you have no budget. He may be right, I don't know, but is sure is fun. I'm sure I'll be looking for your advice. Best of luck to all, and safe travels to Billy and Colleen. And Richard Brickner..."Pa, kin I shoot the eagle?"
Love to all....Bliss B. Ragsdale blissbragsdale@hotmail.com

Bye the way that last one was from me woops.
Becky Montgomery
Well now that you all gave me an update, I guess it is only fair that I give one on myself. My husband and I have been living in Virginia for nearly 5 years. We live just outside of D.C. and we were finally able to buy a townhouse. The cost of living here is ridiculous. We moved for his job with AOL. I have 2 energetic boys and a lovely baby girl that take up my time. The last experience I have had with theatre happened while I was 5 1/2 months pregnant with my daughter. I auditioned for "The Crucible" and almost was cast. I have taught children's theatre school, but not performed since '98. Yikes! Time really does fly. If anyone ever comes to visit the nation's capitol, they best be calling us. I love living in Virginia, now I have an excuse to say Ya'll and no one gives me wierd looks. I will be visiting Utah the end of July and most of August this summer. I would love to see Ya'll. Jen, we definitely need to get our boys together to play. I am glad to hear everyone is doing well. If anyone wants my E-mail it is: Qnroberta@aol.com. See ya'll later.

Hey everyone. Wow, Billy said there were people getting in touch from WWCC but, I never imagined. Becky, Dean says Hi.
Well, to update anyone from 94-96 who knew me as Tanya Harris/Roundy. We're doing great. I have 6 children now and living in St. George. I'm finishing my degree in English and Theatre to teach just like I always wanted to. I'm so glad to see everyone doing well. I never make it back to Rock Springs anymore, but still remember it fondly. Wow, what a year. I just finished participating in Boys Next Door, and look forward to doing Jakcyll and Hyde next year, as well as directing a one act. anyway, if anyone wants to contact me personally---trmajnke@excite.com. have a great night guys!
Tanya Roundy
Lisa.
Thank you for your post. I would love to came to WWCC but, I need to check what is going on the rest of the month. I will post a picture of Colin tonight if I can.
Wow, look at you living in NYC. It's awesome to hear how well you are doing. Do talk with anyone that we went to school with? It would be great to find out what they are up to.
Hope to talk to you soon,
Katie Rehrer Hart
Hey Katie Rehrer Hart, congrats on your first born! (Post a baby picture! We wanna see!)

I'm going to be in Rock Springs performing in Desert Dance Theatre the last week in April
(the students will also be performing two different pieces I set on them a few weeks back). It would be great if you (and any other alumni in the area) could come to the dance concert. Treehouse Shakers from NYC will also be there that week (WY natives Emily Bunning and Mara McEwin's company, I dance with them as well) performing the Wednesday night of that same week in the company's new dance/theatre work "Desert Travels", based on Middle-Eastern folk tales.

love,

Lisa Niedermeyer

p.s. I'll never forget how Shane asked you to marry him. Good thing WWC has strong security around the fossil exhibits eh?
And remember doing "Michele Pfiefer" for Stage MakeUp? I have a great photo of you from that assignment.

Here is my # (805) 241-6961 if anyone wants to catch up a little faster.
Much Love, Katie Rehrer Hart
Hi Everyone!

This is Katie Rehrer (now Hart.) Shane and I will be married six years this July. We just had our first child, a baby boy, this past October. His name is Colin and he has lots of blond hair and blue eyes. He's a good combination of both Shane and I. We live in Southern California but will soon be moving for Shane to return to graduate (business) school. We will be moving somewhere east of the Mississippi, but have not decided yet between the schools that Shane has been accepted to. Looks like we'll head out in late July.

I have not done any theater since Western, but I miss it terribly. I am currently a photographer (when not "just" a mother) and do a lot of wedding photography. I also dabble in interior design and I've been working at the Pottery Barn for the last five years.

I would love to hear back from anyone who attended Western in '95-'97. I think often about all of you who attended school with me and the impact that you made in my life. Send me an e-mail (katielynnett@yahoo.com). Good luck Billy and Colleen on your move to Texas! Thank you for all the wonderful times at Western. Memories that will last a lifetime.

Much love,

Katie Rehrer Hart
Hey, where am I? This is new for me, I feel like I am just talking to myself with the hope that someone will here me. Billy wrote saying Becky was searching for some friends. Well, I'm still in salt lake, girl. I would love to see you and your beautiful family again.
I ran into Deirdre at the ACDFA conference a few weeks ago. It was good to see her and hear how things are at western from her viewpoint. She's a sole survivor.
Good luck on the move Billy & Colleen. I know it's been a long process. We would love to come see you in Texas. Did I see you are putting up Pump Boys? Save the washtub bass for me!

Hey guys, this is Richard. I am sure you all remember me. Well just to get everyone up to speed I quit the theatre department soon after Billy took his new position at WWCC. It just was not the same without his direction. I quit the college about a year and a half ago and now am working full time at Southwest Counseling Service as their Information Technology Administrator and as their part time Facilities Manager. Pretty scary for some of you guys when you think back to some of the things we did at WWC that we probably shouldn't have. ( no offense Billy!!!). Anyway i will try to keep up with this site seeing how Billy is leaving Rock Springs here in a few days. If anyone wants my e-mail address it's rbrickne@swcounseling.org Well talk to you guys later, take care!!!
