I just saw some video of Casey Quinn's New York debut, and I think someone should make a post asking him to post the URL links to his video on the blog. It is great fun. Billy

Konnichiwa, y'all...

Zach S in Dallas here. Gamyr, I wish your mother a speedy recovery, my thoughts are with you and your family. Glad to hear from you, didn't know you were kicking around Austin these days. Good to know Trish and Rik are doing well, perhaps we'll get a posting out of them in the near future. Maybe when Lisa schedules her vacation time to visit Billy, I'll make the trek down from Dallas and catch up with her and some other alumni for a little reunion in July. Billy, I hope your show is coming along, and that I get some time to see it when it's ready for production.

Please cross your fingers for me, as on Wednesday 4/20 (and the first and third Wednesday of each mth thereafter), I return to hosting duties for a poetry slam competition in Addison, TX (suburb of Dallas), and on Sunday, 5/1, I make my attempt to qualify for the 2005 Dallas Slam Poetry Team for a national competition in August in New Mexico. If anyone has the ability to trek over to the DFW metroplex on either of those days, I'd love to get some old friends in the audience for support. If anyone wants details, or just to say hi, drop me an e-mail at the new address: zschrotter@verizon.net. Hope this newest missive finds you all well, please post here often.

Hey all, I'm back. I just thought I'd let you all know about the recent encounter I had with Trish Wade (Moe). I flew up to SLC to visit my mom for the weekend who is going in for surgery this week. Before I came home, I went with her to the hospital while she had her MRI, CT scan, and angiogram. We had finished with the MRI and CT scan, and had just stepped into the waiting room for the angiogram, and this girl says, "Gamyr?" I looked down and there was Trish! It was the wierdest place to run into someone, and the circumstances that brought us both there were most unfortunate, but it was still great to see her and catch up. Apparently, her mother-in-law was there getting an angiogram as well. Anyway, Trish asked about whether or not I'd visited Billy and Colleen, and I told her about the farmhouse, the lakehouse, and PumpBoys and Dinettes. She was excited about it all, and hopes to make it down here to Texas for a visit soon. We'll keep our fingers crossed. She said Rik was doing good, and is trying to get into law school, and Davey is great. For anyone else in the SLC area, I'm sorry I didn't get to see any of you, but I hadn't planned on getting to see anyone at all with my mom's situation what it is, and the trip being a quickie. However, it was a happy surprise to see Trish again. Hopefully, we'll be up that way again when we can spend more time visiting more friends. In the meantime, our doors are always open to any of you here in Austin. Later! ---Gamyr

Hey all!!! It's Nate! We've been havin some fun out her at Billy and Colleen's farm. Billy and I have pork chops on the campfire quite a bit lately and they are goooooooooood!!! I am learning to work a chain saw and that is exciting! Two weeks ago Billy rented a skidster, for those of you that don't know what that is it is a small tractor, in this case a small bulldozer. Billy and I had a lot of fun with that spreading dirt and gravel and cow muck.
The fishing is supposed to be real good about this time of year so I'm gonna be doin some o' that.
I'm excited for the summer, it is going to be good work and good fun!!! Hope to see as many of you as can make it down this summer to see us. It'll be a hoot!!! Well, that's about all I can think of right now.

Rock On!!!
-Nate

Well, my time spent on the blog this evening must have been meant to be. I randomly saw an ad for this site elsewhere online, and I was like "Oh yeah!" (I totally forget about this thing all the time)Anyway, to my surprise, when I log on to peruse the months worth of blogs that I haven't kept up with, the most recent blog posting includes a picture of ME! It kind of tripped me out, but then again I can't say I'm too surprised because that's one of the things Lisa's there for right? :) Anyhow, I almost didn't blog tonight because I was wanting to wait another week or so until I had some potentially newsworthy news to share, but Billy's admonishment not to blog without actually blogging got me to feelin' guilty. So, it just means that you'll most likely be hearing from me again soon, and you'll get 2 blogs where you would've just gotten one otherwise! Aren't y'all the luckiest? Anyway, since the potential news I had has yet to be news, I'll just say "Hello everybody!" I miss those of you I know, and for those of you I don't, I'm sure I'd miss you if I did. Ummmmm....yeah...so, that said, Keep on truckin', and write me a line or two if you like. I'll blog again real soon! ----Gamyr
