Hey everyone, this is Dan Matthews. Nice to see you on the blog Richard and Justin. It's been a long time. Well, I'm entering my last year of grad school which means I'm supposed to prove to everyone that I actually learned something here. That proof will come in the form of the set and lighting design for The Rocky Horror Show and the 6 chapter dissertation to go with it. The pictures are of the model for the set and the theatre we're doing it in. It's a restored 19th century theatre downtown. If anyone is in Ohio in mid-November you should come check it out. We're even handing out kits with stuff like toast and rice people can throw at the stage. Also, for any lighting geeks out there, we're buying a few of the new ETC Revolutions, which is basically a moving Source 4 with color and pattern changing. It's going to be very rock and roll and very fun. Good luck to everyone in thier theatrical or other endeavors.
More later,
Dan

Hi Justin, Glad to see that you are posting on the blog now. Congratulations on your design gig.
Richard, good to hear from you. At least we know you are still alive. I am about to buy
some new sound equipment. Any suggestions on amps. Billy

Hello everyone, this is Richard! I am pretty sure all of you know who I am especially if you went through the theatre dept. at WWCC. Well in case you guys do not know, i am no longer at the college. I am still in Rock Springs however. I am currently the IT Administrator at Southwest Counseling Service. I tried to pursue the whole theatre thing after I left but it just did not happen! Things were never the same there after Billy left! I truly miss it! I will always remember all the people who have crossed my path! If you would like to email me my address is rbrickne@swcounseling.org. Or if you would just like to give me a call as some of you have, my number is 307-389-9195. I hope this message finds all of you well! until later god bless, and take care!

Hey everyone,
If any of you remember me, it's Justin Zierke. I have been reading your blogs for some time now and have decided to finally write one. I had a lot of fun with you guys over the years and have great memories. It's good to have a spot we can all go to communicate with ease. Blog you later guys!
Justin
P.S. Billy, I had the chance to design and build a set for a community production of Into The Woods in Idaho Falls.

Konnichiwa!!!
Zach S. in Dallas, here. Just thought I'd post to the blog before I leave for the National Poetry Slam being held in Albuquerque next week. Above you'll see pictures of me and the team, as well as the mascot (Beelzebub Buttercup). If you watch Def Poetry on HBO, you might recognize Joaquin Zihuatanejo (far left) and Rock Baby (2nd from right). We'll be competing against 74 other poetry slam teams from all across the nation, Canada, and France. Dallas' team will be doing their preliminary bouts at a Flamenco studio on Wednesday, and a rock club on Thursday. You can check our progress, and get more details on the event at http://www.nps2005.org/. If there are any alumni out in Albuquerque, or if anyone feels like a road trip, feel free to come out, I'd love to see some friendly faces in the crowd. Doing this team slam, I can't help but remember what Billy and Colleen always said to us--Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art. It's a valuable lesson, and keeping that in mind makes you a better performer. Billy, I hope your show went well, sorry I didn't get a chance to see it. Kasi and I are setting up our guest/announcement list for our wedding in May, and if anyone would like an announcement, please e-mail me @ zschrotter@verizon.net. If there's anyone who thinks they can make it into town May 7th, let me know, and I'll send you an invite. Peace n' love to y'all.
Z.
