Eww....... gross.......... Yep that is definitly my foot and my toe and my funny looking face on the other side of it with a really wierd looking haircut. If anyone wants to know how my toe got to looking like that it was like this.... We were preping a new backdrop. we had just finnished spreadding the cornstarch/water mixture over it and were getting out those huge fans to help it dry when one of the 40lb pigs we were using to keep the edges pinned down fell over onto my unsuspecting toes. Billy said to stop crying and suck it up, but only in words that billy would actually use, until i was looking at the damage later and he was like, whoa that is cool, we gotta get a picture of that, only once again, in words that billy would actually use. I think rickie was eating a roll or something. By the way, does anyone know where i can get a hold of rickie? She still has my mini fridge and my favorite sweater.

Eww, Billy. That's really gross. What is it that Rickie is eating in that picture anyway?

Well hello everyone again, it is I, Calvin. Just got back from a road trip to New Orleans and back. I gotta say, that is a fun place to be. I went down with my girlfriend of six months for a buisiness conference of hers. We stayed at the Marriot on Canal Street just inside the French Quarter. The food and music and atmosphere down there are wonderfull. One of my favorite new food experiences was barbecued oyster Po Boys at Red Fish Grill Bourbon Street; a loaf of french bread piled high with deep-fried barbequed oysters, blue cheese and red onions, the Biegnets at Cafe Du Mond is a great experience too. It's located right between Jackson Park and the Mississippi River. You sit down and enjoy your "french doughnuts" in the cool morning air to the sound of very lively and talented street musicians while watching the cart horse tours leave the park. On St. Patricks Day I hung out in Kerry's Irish Pub (down on Decator to anyone who's visited the frnch quarter) and listened to live irish folk music until the parades started at around 6:00 but didn't stop until after 10:00. Then it was time for more food and live music at house of blues. I also took the haunted history tour while I was there which was very cool and also kind of gruesome but I wouldn't want to spoil those stories by telling them here. After a few days of fully enjoying myself it was time for the long drive back to Salt Lake. The only comlaint I have about that is the powerful winds in northern Texas combined with the snow from the night before. Visibility was next to nothing but I did get a kick out of the icecicles pointing sideways off of the semis. On our way back I decided to stop at Cruel Jacks to remenisce a bit. although the place had changed a bit the food was still good. Not that I really had enough cash to ever order much more than a few pitchers of water when I was at Western. Anyway, as i looked at the little man in a big hat pointing a gun at me fron my bottle of hot sauce, I was reminded of all my good friends and i wished you were all there with me. Anyway, this post is pretty long so i better end now. I hope everyone else is having a fun time with whatever they may be doing.

Konnichiwa, y'all...

Zach Schrotter in Dallas here. It's coming down to the wire for me as my wedding invitations are set to go out next week, for my wedding in Dallas May 7th. I'll be happy to send an invite to any alumnus who'd like one, just drop an e-mail to me @ zschrotter@verizon.net with your contact info. Still heavy into the slam poetry scene as I prepare to qualify for one of the slam poetry teams in the DFW are area. I'll be heading to Austin for 2 slam poetry conferences in April also as a co-organizer for one of those teams. Basically, I'm not sleeping for the next two months (but that's nothing new for me, right?) Anyway, I'll blog again at the end of next month. Peace n' love to y'all.

Well, hopefully everyone knows Casey's good news. If not, drop him an email and ask him what I'm talking about. I think I might have a photo of Calvin's big toe injury.
This is definately a classic, so stay tuned. I will look for it and try to post it soon. Time for those checking the blog to blog themselves. We are the life blood of the blog. So keep on blogging. Happy Spring break. Billy.
