Oh...I suppose I should let you know I finally graduated a few years back. (2001) I got my degree in Psychology and another in Sociology. The greatest thing is that I am now a Journalist/Writer. Hee hee. Isn't that just GRAND! I climbed out of my beer bottle long enough to get my feet on the ground! Just thought I'd let ya know!

RIC WADE....If you are seeing this...or anyone else who knows me...email me! I am at writenow72@yahoo.com

Peace out!

YO BILLY!!! It's Robby here! I got this site info from Bliss (through Jen Rowe) and had to say hello! I haven't done much theatre but I did have my own talk show in California for over a year. I moved so had to let it go but it was awesome! Thanks for all the great tips back in the day. I have become quite the little writer now. I have been the San Francisco Bay Area Entertainment Guide Columnist, a central California spiritual/psychology columnist, and a die-hard blogger. I am working on my first book and am currently in Colorado (Loveland). We just moved here a couple months ago. I'd love to hear any and everything you want to share! I have some seriously good memories of you, the theatre, your beer, the campfires, Idaho, Colleen, and all the rest!!! What a wonderful time of life that was even if I don't remember half of it due to my um...er...well let's say..."state of mind". LOL

Well I hope to hear back from you. You may as well get on writing me back too cuz you know full well what a pain in the ass I can be when I want too! Ha!

Much much love and respect to ya,
Robby

Hey all, Kelsey here. My oh my...I didn't realize how long it had been since I last visited the WWCC blog. I feel a tad guilty keeping the details of my fabulous life from you. :)

So, I spent the summer abroad studying Greek Classical Theatre and playing the vengeful Goddess Aphrodite in Hippolytus. Greece was lovely. I went swimming in the Aagean nearly every day, which was a good thing because I also ate icecream every day. :) We toured all over. Kind of a cool thing to perform in a 3,000 year old theatre. Here's a couple pictures.

Unfortunately, I now have the traveling bug and want to leave the country again as soon as possible. Germany next, I think.

Other big news, my sister had my first niece, Georgia Lynae, on November 17th. I was able to be there for the birth and stayed there a couple weeks to help my sis get the hang of things. It's been a very special time for us. Check out this site:

Other than that, I'm trying to figure out where I want my life to go from here. I'm in the process of getting new headshots and an agent. I figure I'll give Chicago until the end of my lease, and if it doesn't feel right, I'll find another place that does.

Sounds like everyone is doing splendidly. Casey and Lisa, I might be heading your way again, soon. Congrats to Bliss, Dan, Lisa, Lorna, Laurie, Michelle (China?!), and Zach.

Miss you all...especially you Billy.:)

WWC Theatre Alumni Blog
Hey folks-- Rik & Trish Wade (Moe) here. It's been a long time since we've been on, we've had a crazy year.
Rik is following in Casey's footsteps, he just finished up his first semester of law school. He still plays in a band with Kirby Wilson (music major 90-92), although not so much since school started.
Trish is teaching high school biology and math, and she's Gary Coleman's vet tech on weekends--it sounds like a joke, but it's not. :)
Davey just turned 8, if you can believe that. Can't believe that Lisa Perue's oldest is 19!
Jay Sheely (91-93?) lives here too-- he got married back in February to a great woman named Michelle. He's teaching high school science and math as well.

Hi all, Dan here after a LONG semester. I have nothing to say really, so I'm just going to vent.

Thoughts on teaching:

Somehow, in the past five years public schools have stopped teaching students how to write. There, their, and they're still mean completely differnt things, and as far as I know, sentences are still supposed to have verbs AND subjects. So much for "higher education" (or maybe they all misinterpreted the "higher" part). Also, I'm thinking of stapling my syllabi to students' body parts. How can they all lose the most vital piece of paper involved in any course? If I hear another "What are we doing next week?" or "When is it due?" I'm going to use the wide-crown construction stapler and body parts containing important organs. (Not really folks, this is just a textual representation of my angst. If you're still reading, I apologize.)

Good news:

I get to design the lights for the Opera, "Cosi Van Tutte" next semester. Mozart, here I come.

PS - Billy, I'm glad you think of me as a grown up, but I'm just playing the part of one. It's the only acting I get to do anymore.

I just spent the last week with my colleage Olase Freeman
staying with Deirdre MacDonald and working with the dance students at WWC.
You can check out pictures from our residency at
http://homepage.mac.com/lniedermeyer/PhotoAlbum23.html.
It is worth looking at the photos just to see beautiful Regan Marynowski
(Keihl) and I dressed up for the hip hop workshop! Hilarious.
The high altitude and back to back 15 hr days were making us giddy.
Or perhaps it was just nostaligia overload. Somewhere around day 5
we broke the wine opener and Deirdre had to resort to work call skills (see photo).

Here's to honoring the magic we all created in that desert together once upon a time,
it still lingers in the studio, backstage, and piano rooms. It felt good to kick that
magic dust up a bit.

Love,

Lisa Niedermeyer

Hello, Former Westerners! Glad to hear so many of you are doing so well. It sure makes Billy and Colleen look good. For you MySpacers, you may have already heard this, but I thought I'd pass it on to the rest of y'all. Our little theatre company here in the Mountains of Wyoming has once again been honored by RMTA. Our Original Production, The Rigamarole Revue, has been chosen as a Showcase for Festivention 2007, in Gunnison, Colorado. The show, which is a strange version of a revue was written primarily by yours truly with the help of my crazy cast. We also used a monologue written by Rik Wade, Lisa Niedermeyer and myself for RMTA at BYU. We even have muppets, strange, demented muppets. We are super excited, especially because the show has almost no set. That's what I call a load in! This will be the 9th production (at least) which I have been part of touring to RMTA. Man, they've gotten their money's worth out of me, eh? Could be close to a record.
As always I hope all is well in all of your endeavors... Come see us if you can... Good Wishes and Great Art to you from the Rocky Mountains.....Bliss

Hi Folks, Billy here. First let me welcome Matt and Joe Bud to the blog. Long time no see fellows. Also, congratulations Dan for being a grown up. Casey, sounds like you are living the exciting life. Just remember us little people when you get to the top. And Laurie, I'm glad you found job with Casey's twin. I am currently monitoring a test for Tech Theatre class, so I need to look like I'm doing something important, so I'm blogging. Things are great down here. We plan to do TGSCBR again this summer. For those who don't know that is the shortened name for: THE GREAT SANTA CLAUS BANK ROBBERY. So I am again looking for a fiddle player. Nate will dust off the mandolin, and I will pull out the banjo farm. I hope all have a wonderful holidays. Be safe. and be sure to spread a little sunshine where ever you go. Billy

Hi Billy and Nate,
Somewhat exciting news... I got a job. Hooray! And it only took me like a week when I started looking. Oh! and today, I worked with Casey Quinn's twin - only with a southern accent. It was so weird to have Casey has a boss! Anywoo, hope things are going well in Cisco. The morning view just isn't the same. Tell Colleen I say hello! And the animals too.
