I like to have something exciting to blog about before I blog and I think I might actually have something. Tonight I got to go to an award ceremony for the Fred Ebb (of Kander and Ebb fame) Foundation. I didn't win anything, mainly because the award is for up and coming musical theatre lyricists. It was held in the penthouse of the American Airlines theatre on 42nd St. It was a great little party, but the really cool thing is the people I got to meet. First of all, I met John Kander (who wrote the music for Cabaret, Chicago, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, etc). Secondly, I met Sheldon Harnick, the lyricist who wrote the lyrics we all know and love from The Apple Tree and Fiddler on the roof. Thirdly, (this one is mainly interesting to Billy, Nate, and Kelsey) I got to meet Debra Monk who is the actress who wrote some of the songs in and starred as Prudie Cupp in the original Pumpboys and Dinettes. Cool, eh? Finally, the wonderful person who invited me introduced me to people like this, "This is my friend Casey, he is a lawyer and a producer!" So, that was first time hobnobbing with some of the Broadway greats.
As far as the rest of life, I'm doing well. My sister had a cancer scare, but luckily it was just a scare and she is okay. I'm about two weeks from being done with this semester and only having one semester of law school left. I'm getting to do all kinds of great things. I got to see the Who in concert twice this fall and tomorrow night I'm seeing Pete Townshend, his girlfriend Rachel Fuller, Martha Wainwright, and Sean Lennon (son of John and Yoko) in a small venue that only holds 160 or so people. So, yeah, I'm doing really well right now. I hope that all of you had a nice Thanksgiving and that the rest of your holiday season is a bright one!

Hey Everyone!
Matt and Ben sent me a note about this site and look here I am! A big ol Hello to anyone who remembers me from 95-97 WWCC years. It was great to look over the pictures and read some of the comments. Hard to read years worth of blogs in one evening :)
So its Joe McCullough here and I can't believe how much time has gone by. I talk to some of ya all on myspace or email, but many many good friends I lost touch with so its nice to have this - Thanks Billy & Colleen!
Well, I am sure everyone is just falling over themselves to hear about what I have been up to - so enough with the suspense.
After I left Western I transfered to CU Boulder and joined the Army National Guard (7 long, but great years), after switching schools to Metro State College of Denver I got my BS in Marketing Management. I started a Dog Day Care business in Denver grew it for three years and then sold it for a nice little profit. Bought a condo that I am now selling! LOL
I have two incredible dogs that turn 6 years old this year I share custody with my ex Chad. I did club lighting in Denver for a couple years and had a great time doing that except the late hours. I now am an Event Manager at the Colorado Convention Center, which is an amazing job with long hours, but never a dull day (what I do basically is run every public show, private convention, party, gala, meetings, whatever that books in the center). We have a great concert space so I get to still tap into my lighting skills sometimes on concerts. We have had Kid Rock, Malissa Ethridge, Clay Akin (lame), Kelly clarkson, Dolly Parton, etc. its my one last connection with the theatre. I am headed back to school at University of Colorado in Denver for a dual degree in Urban and Reginal Planning and Business so that will eat up my life for a bit.
Outside of that I try to frequent the bars, play softball and other sports (I am an outdoors freak and still a nutrition excercise nerd) In a couple organizations, do some homeless helping and prank call Cory Jones as much as possible. :)
Well, hope to hear from of ya - and yes I tend to travel enough that I might be in your neihborhood and would love to stop for a beverage and chat. I got a chance to see Matt in Vegas and am trying to get up to Seattle to see Adrianne.
I know I don't need to tell you, but if anyone is in or around Denver let me know I camp during the summer and hike almost ever week. Snow shoe and snow board in the winter and of coarse all kinds of things in the city. (my email - mccullough1678@msn.com)
So it almost 2007 any reunion plans maybe go to the dunes and set a couch on fire? If anyone is up for a 10 year, yes 10 year WWC reunion I am there! I will show off my new dance moves!
Love ya all!
Joe McCullough
Congrats on your job and your new appointment, Dan. I hope it all goes great!

I've just been appointed to my first College committee. I am the Speech Communication, Theatre, and Dance representative for the Environmental Health and Safety Committee. Believe me, it's as exciting as it sounds. I have a new-found understanding of "Field of Glory"

I was planning on holding out a little longer, but the temptation is too great to resist. After all, we are (or were) all theatre people right??? ...and thus enjoy the spotlight, so... here goes...
Currently I reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been here since 2000', and have recently graduated (may 06') with my BS in Computer Science (thats computer programming really). I have been dating the same girl for the last 3.5 years, and landed a professional staff position at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in August of 06'. Pretty good thing too, as I was certainly not interested in waiting tables for the rest of my life.
No heart attacks yet... whew... only a few knee surgeries from doing too many front flips on concrete. As some of you may remember, I once attempted to do a mortal kombat aerial spin in modern class, resulting in a broken foot two weeks before Desert Dance Tour of 98'. Yep... that hurt, and No... I haven't learned my lesson...yet! Although... I don't think I can hold myself up horizontally on a ladder anymore. Yep, the good ol' days are gone, and I just type the days away on my computer. Next step... retirement. See ya in 25 years.

Hey all...
O Happy Day! (This past Mon. that is...) I got to see Lisa and Krisen both! Was way exciting. I highly recommend that anyone who comes to the area go see Blaze in action. Krisen let me sneak into one of their tech rehearsals and it was so very delightful. Not much other news here other than I found a job...lol It's a private hotel which is nothing like I've ever seen before. Everybody keep their fingers crossed for me to pull it all together soon enough to stay. Lisa, was excellent seeing you, and welcome, Matt! Sweet Dreams to all...

Wow... I can't believe that I missed out on so many years of good bloggin'. Nearly took me half a days work to read through the whole thing... and I am sure that I'll spend a few more days reminiscing. My brain is literally flooded with memories. As such, I'll keep this short, and leave you with this picture... One that I really should give back to Autumn ("Triple A").

I miss you all...
