Hi Laurie and Casey, That's great Laurie. We look forward to seeing you down here.
As far as Casey's Law Firm Revue. Don't let him fool ya'll. It is definately a Major Production. It really just shows you that he went to Law School to get into show business. Great to hear from ya'll ya hear? Much Heart! Billy Oh, Yeah. I heard a rumor this morning that Big Country Dinner Theatre is going to do THE GREAT SANTA CLAUS BANKROBBERY this next summer.

Wow! With such a flurry of blogging going on, I figured it was time for me to show my face again. Good to hear that everyone is so active and things seem to be going well. Laurie, you're in for a real treat getting to go paint drops with Nate and Billy! I'm totally jealous. Well, sorta, because it ain't like I'm not having any fun here.... Last week, I got to meet Pete Townshend in a Barnes and Noble! It was so cool, and then tonight I'm going to watch the Who in Madison Square Garden. Living in the City does have one or two perks. Other than that excitement, I have just been going to school and trying to get through this last year somewhat unscathed. My only theatrical activity right now is planning our Law Revue show, like a live SNL, for the spring, but it's fun because we write all the skits and bits and musical numbers. Anyway, hope to see more people hop on the blog and hope that you're all well.

Billy,
That's one of the great melodramas. In fact didn't you tell me you were in LOVE RIDES THE RAILS OR WILL THE MAIL TRAIN RUN TONIGHT as a youth? Life is good, I am excited about Freudian Slip. If I can only find three good women. Every man's dream. Ben, you are added!!! Check my friends for other WWC alumni. Hopefully I will close on a house by Wednesday, if I don't injure some morgage lender....
Hope all is well with everyone.....Bliss

Hi Laurie, Bliss, and Ben. Laurie, I sent an email to you but I haven't heard back from you. Bliss, that is a really good show. The playwright was actually a student of Neil Simon - thus the style and skill. I was actually considering that show for this fall, as my department is kind of like the one I had at that time - young with little experience. So I decided to do a new show called DEARLY BELOVED. I am also doing another show to open a couple of weeks later - LOVE RIDES THE RAILS OR WILL THE MAIL TRAIN RUN TONIGHT - you guessed it - a melodrama. Going for the style.
And Ben, great to hear from you - that is English that you are speaking, right?
Food luck with the move.
Billy
Hey all...

Has it really been since Feb that I've blogged? Do you get flogged if you haven't blogged? Heh... Sorry if this is a lil rambling, but it's way late (early?) and life is crazy! Biggest news first, I s'pose. Benjamin is finally getting out of Billings! Got a job offer in Holyoke, MA (How funny is a zipcode that starts w/zero? Maybe that's just me...) and am gonna go for it. Details later. So keep an ear out Casey/Lisa/Lorna! I'll probly be hunting you down in the next month or so to steal some of your valuable time after I get there... Anyone else out that way drop a note and let me know! New e-mail, btw: ONoUDinint@yahoo.com And Zach does get his props for always including...lol Speaking of which, would love to add a bunch of congrats for some ppl (forgive me for being so lax w/time) Laurie, on going back to school - Lorna on the new cruise - Zach again on the ball and chain *wink* - and Dan really, really late on the MFA. One more note, before I stop babbling. I have also joined the ranks of debaucherous Myspacers...lol (Hint, hint) Kind of fun actually, and Bliss you better add me! As always, miss you terribly Billy and Colleen and when you need some extra Best Wishes anytime, feel free to get them from me!

Sweet Dreams to All... --Ben--

P.S. Still have my Moolato_Mocha@excite.com to any who have that Email...
P.P.S. Still don't have a comp yet, so bear with me, comrades... Hugz, everyone...

Hello, Westernites.... Billy, you will never guess what show my little theatre is doing next. Go on guess.... "The Girl in the Freudian Slip"! Oh yeah... I think this may have been the first WWC show I ever saw. In a theatre about the same size as mine. Visions of John Vitullo drift through my mind. Which is sort of weird in itself. I told Charles, haven't heard back. Hope all is well. What shows are the rest of y'all doing? ................Bliss

BILLY! I would love to come down and work on those drops! But first clarify something for me... are you starting the drops 4 wks from now or do they need to be finished 4 wks from today (Sept 12)? Wanna make sure I get my time frames right. Now tell me where the closest airport is. And do you actually think you'll be able to put up with me for a week or two ;) Here's my email, mskyttn@gmail.com.

Laurie
Ps I'd call but I don't have you're number.

Hi Billy

I know it's been a long while, but I was wondering if you might have some helpful information I could wrangle out of you. I am currently looking into returning to school for scene painting and/or design. In your opinion, would it be better to start off with an art program, at like a 2 yr school, or find a school, 2 or otherwise, that does theatre (sort of like Western) and is open to taking someone with very little experience? Also, can you recommend any schools? I know it's probably a long shot, but I would really super appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks!

Laurie Gardner

Ps Tell Colleen I say hello.

Michelle (douglass) Black here!!! It's been a while since I've seen any of you, and since I love to find out about what all of you sre doing these days, I thought I'd up-date you all on what I'm doing these days... Jake (my husband) just graduated from school in April, and is doing really well with his writing career. I'm majoring in dance education- I have two years left of that... just taking my time... for reasons I'll explain in a minute. I'm also working at the Missionary Training Center in Provo as a materials specialist in the LRC. I'm not a linguist, but they have me reviewing all the language textbooks and dictionaries to decipher whether or not they are the best materials out there for the missionaries' needs. I tell ya... I'm learning tons.
K, so the reason I extended my graduation is because I had an amazing chance to do a dance study abroad in China this past Spring. I had to take advantage of it. Because I went there, I had to push back some classes, and I can only do student teaching in winter... so I had to extend an entire year more before I'm done. But that's cool, because I went to CHINA!!! I got to study Chinese calligraphy, folk music, culture (we went to a lot of cool sights... like the Great Wall, Buddhist temples, the Summer Palace, etc), tai chi, Tibetan dance, Korean dance, Classical Chinese dance, and martial arts. It was one of the neatest experiences of my life. Definately a landmark for me. I'd love to hear from you all personally. My email address hasn't changed since Western, but here it is again anyway: corcolette@yahoo.com. luv ya'll!

Hey everybody, this is Calvin. Hope you've all been well. It's been a few months but I've been busy. I finally got back into school this summer. I took English 2010, Math 2250, Pysics 2200 and Phsychology 1010. I am happy to report that I got straight A's. For the fall I am enrolled in Math 4310, Physics 3870, Physics 3550, Chemistry 1220, and Math 1220. By the way I am double majoring in Physics and Mathematics. For those of you thinking that it must be tons of fun, rest assured it is. I have been trying to get a little information on the theatre program here at Utah State University so i can maybe do something on the side, but I've been pretty busy and I can never seem to catch anyone who knows anything about it. On the other hand, I am on the Rugby team and that's alot of fun, although I am still trying to figure out all the rules. Anyway, if anyone wants to send me an e-mail my address is cyprusonian@yahoo.com. I'd love to hear from everyone.

Calvin
