Hey, you got some blog on you.
Trish is still working on her Biology degree at the U of U, she expects to be done next December, then with any luck it’ll be on to Vet School. Over the summer she had an internship at a llama ranch in Boulder Wy, so we all lived in a 30’ camper for the summer. Davey and I spent most of our time being 4 year olds and having fun. We have loads of pictures if anyone needs a “llama wearing a hat” or “llama yawning” pose for a special occasion. Or for the racier tastes, “llamas gone wild: mating season” will be available on DVD shortly. Ask your operator for details.
Davey just turned 5, and is an Orange Belt in Karate. He has his first tournament this Saturday. I’m advising him to “sweep the leg.” (To those of you born in the 80s, this probably makes no sense; to those of us born in the 70s, it’s hilarious. Trust me.) He’s learned to write his name, and is gradually learning to read. He’s very popular; just two nights ago Santa Claus himself insisted they take a picture together.
As for me, I’m working in Provo at a down payment assistance provider. It’s a great place, everyone is much nicer than I am. My band recently broke up, mostly so that WWCC Alumnus Kirby (Chavez) Wilson and I could be friends again. It worked. I’ve lost 80 pounds on the Atkins diet since July and now weigh less than I did in High School and feel great. I have never had this much energy and my back problems have disappeared. On a regular basis, I run into alums Cory Bury, Aug Witzgall, Joe Merritt, Jesse Mills and Phil Zinn. There’s a lot of us down here! I hear that Daryl Olsen is here too, but I haven’t seen him since he helped me move to Utah back in 93.
