Hey everyone!
Guess I'll take a turn at saying hi and what I've been up to. I'm going to school at Idaho State in Pocatello right now and will graduate in May with my Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. Woohoo. It, of course, has an emphasis in theatre and also German. I'm in the process right now of applying to law schools, as that looks to be the direction I will be headed after undergrad studies are done. I work part time for Walgreens drug store in the photo lab, but most of my non studying time goes to a job I have at school on the ISU Program Board. It is basically planning, booking, and producing performing arts events for students. It's a great job and right up my alley. I get to spend a lot of money, talk on the phone with agents all over the country, and plan all aspects of the events. One cool thing I have coming up is that I'm producing "The Pirates of Penzance" which is being put on by a group of students at ISU that is being headed up by none other than Jeff Glenn and Kimber (Janes) Tower. You'll be glad to know Jeff is reprising his role as the pirate king. Among other events, I have a Sinatra impersonator and big band coming for Valentine's and the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet coming in March.
In February, I'll be going to the regional tournament for College Bowl. It is like team Jeopardy. While my team didn't win at school level, they pick the highest scorers and create a varsity squad to go compete at regionals. That should be fun. I'm currently single, but have been dating lots of very young girls. That's fun too. And for all of you that are not having a cold holiday season, we got 13 inches of snow the day after Christmas here (a one day record) and we've had several storms since with lots of Blizzard warnings and road closures. Earlier tonight we even had thunder and lighnting followed by hail and then snow.
It's great to read what everyone is doing and where you are all located! Hope to hear more from you.
Best,
Casey Quinn
