Howdy from Dallas, Zach here, yet again. Bliss, glad to see you're still live n' kickin', and hope things are well for you, and wish the same for the rest of our lil' alumni family. Just wanted to pass on that as of last night, I've qualified to compete for a spot on the 2005 Dallas Slam Poetry team, which is a huge deal for me. Our "slam-off" will be in Dallas in May, and if anyone's in the area, to come out and see some amazing poets battle head to head. If I make the squad, I'll get to perform at the national competition this August, which is being held in Albuquerque, so y'all please keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm also involved in getting 2 other poetry venues up and running in the Metroplex, working on a spoken word CD, and starting on wedding plans which we're tentatively looking at having in April of 2006.
