Hey Everybody!
This blog looked a little barren for the month of October, so I thought that I should post one since I haven't in about a year or so. I was awarded an internship this last summer at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center with the Cody Firearms Museum. I did various jobs for them which got me some good experience in the museum world as well as earned some college credit. I am now working on my last smester at University of Wyoming and will FINALLY graduate this coming December with my bachelors degree in history!!!! It is about time, sometimes I thought the school and book-reading would never end! As far as doing things in theatre, I was in a Cody Community Theatre production this last summer of "The Fantastiks", where I played "Henry" the old British actor. It was pretty fun, but nothing like the fun of doing one of Billy's shows. Other than that, nothing really interesting has been going on where I am, just trying to keep up with school so that I don't fail anything on my last semester and not graduate. I am also beginning to look around for graduate programs at different schools. Does anybody know any good graduate programs for history that they would recommend? That is probably a stupid question to ask on a theatre blog, but oh-well. Congrats on your master's degree Dan! Have fun remodeling your theatre Lorna Lu! Billy, what kind of rain did you get down there with the Hurricane and all? I know that you are farther inland, but those hurricanes can move a long way before they run out of gas. Well, talk to you all later.
Miles.
P.S. Nate, how is the TD job at Cisco going?
